Hmm, on top of is kind of funny..but they do like to sleep on top of people. Nico loves to sleep in the crook of my arm or on my shoulder, curled up.

@snowy22315 Annabelle used to do that! And we asked the woman who rescued her if she had come from a home with a cat, and she said no. She’d also curl around the back of my neck, and zonk out. Her slow breathing would make me sleepy.

Nico doesn't have any qualms about attempting to bite if he gets annoyed..but has never actually bit or scratched anyone. I think with him it is more of a reflex or warning.

@grenery8 Both males and females can be loving, but I never had a female cat attempt to bite

Nico does that too sometimes, but I am not sure he naps in there. He will kind of hang out in there if something scares him. Although not sure he has been that scared for awhile.

@rebelann Once in awhile he will disappear from view but I usually think he is in a closet or another room.

Yes, he had to dig himself in there. I am sure it is cozy though.

My cat curls up where she wants to either take a nap or sleep. I cannot think of funny places she has picked to sleep
in. That is very funny place Nico chose.

I imagine it was cozy and he felt hidden. I saw one on Facebook that was napping in a Jack O Lantern.

One room has bunk beds. He likes to sleep on the top bunk. He thinks that room is his cave and he takes alot of his toys in there.

The funniest place I have seen a cat sleep in the bed with my relatives at night or daytime.

I would say that is a normal place to sleep.

@snowy22315 It is a normal place to sleep as well as being near the window.

We've always had dogs. I've seen dogs sleep in positions that can't possibly be comfortable...but they must be! Have a good day.

They do love to be comfy. I am glad Nico likes his cat bed. I would love it if I was a cat. It is like a big fuzzy slipper, and has the added attraction of being in a box.

Sam would sleep in my Inbox on my desk in the most ridiculous positions imaginable. He would stroll the house like a lion checking his domain, but if the doorbell rang...he was underneath the lounging love seat in a split second...he would be under there if he heard thunder as well...but fireworks never bothered him. He would sit at the window looking for them. I had him 17 years..longer than any cat I ever had before. Still miss him, but I am not healthy enough to even think about taking care of an animal.

Yes, they do require some looking after. My mom doesn't have a cat anymore, but my sister got her a large stuffed cat that looks very lifelike and comes with a comb. I find it soothing..and I am sure she does too
