Language level is not important. I've known of this song for a couple of months and am surprised how it is a good learning material. It sings about word week, which days of week are there, time is also mentioned. I mean, not bad. Overall, song is very catchy. In today's time, language materials are really accessible As for me, I had radio cassettes to learn a foreign language

I went to school to learn foreign languages, but it was living in different countries that I really learned.

i believe actual practise, which is living in a foreign country, as you said made you more confident in those languages. i tried with language school while was a college student but there weren't skilled teachers there but important thing is they took the money and even increased the price.

@grenery8 - It is very true that practice makes perfect. We had good teachers, but in school you do not learn the "every day" phrases and also the slang, more important than people can imagine.

@LadyDuck absolutely. text world and real world are completely different. i am surprised that since college students teached as too, how come noone said anything about language exchange or something;today, i feel, that is quite normal or many continue their study in a foreign language.

i think for a second foreign language or advancing with the first, practice is crucial and maybe visiting the native country.

I am not bilingo in any sense. However, I do know some spanish because we took a class in high school. Parents wanted me to take it, even though I was more interested in french at the time.

@grenery8 I don't watch forign films that aren't in English. I don't have the time or patience to read through all the subtitles, assuming I can.
