It is very rare for persons in Oregon to see a wolverine in their city since wolverines are known in Alaska and Canada. One wolverine was seen in the cities of Nehalem, Newport and Netarts Oregon by residents in those cities according to the employees last week of the Oregon Department Fire and Wildlife. The wolverines are harmless to human beings if humans do not mess around with the animal. The wolverines in Oregon have the law on their side since hunting or trapping the animal is forbidden. I wonder why? They like cold weather. People need to stay away from them though. They are quite vicious.

I had to look that one up. I was thinking a type of wolf, but no, it is a weasel. They are the largest land-living weasel. It is good they are being protected, no hunting allowed.
