The amazing talents of some people

Vince went into the city today to join a photo group taking photos in the inner city area. He was a bit late leaving the house so I dropped him at the train station and he caught the train into the city (about 30 minutes) then a train and bus home.
One of the photos that I really liked was a mural painted on the side of a multi-storey building. Vince wanted me to pay for the photo but I said it wasn’t good enough. (That’s a joke.) I hope whoever painted it got paid for their work.
Shortly we’re going up to the clubhouse and will have pizza for dinner then play a few games with the other residents. We’ll still probably be in bed by 10pm.
Edit: The top figure is aboriginal with the face painted with ochre. The guy is holding smoking leaves which is part of a ceremony to welcome people to 'country', I think the middle figure represents those from eastern Europe and the lower figure represents the many nationalities who are Muslim. I suppose you could read into it that the aborigine is welcoming those from other nations to share in 'his' country. Which is a nice thought.

That is very nice artwork. I really enjoy when architects and designers incorporate art into their construction projects.

@JudyEv I think all cities and towns across the world should invest in more murals on their buildings.

@moffittjc I'm sure it stops a lot of the graffiti. Some of these guys are really talented and have graffiti painting in their backgrounds.

Very nice. I wonder what it is the guy up top is holding. Looks like his unruly beard is covering a kitten laying on carrots...

That is really cool. I guess it is to show solidarity with the Palestinians? Outside of Detroit and a few other places in Michigan with large Muslim populations..not really sure a mural like that would fly here You can not help but admire the artistry though.

The top figure is aboriginal; the middle I'm not sure but possibly middle Eastern and the lower obviously a Muslim. But we have huge ethnic diversity here. Many Indonesians, Malaysians and others are Muslim so I think it is depicting Muslims in general rather than any race in particular.

We have some lovely murals around the place and not just in the city. This one is in Mount Barker, well to the south.

They would represent the many different nationalities that live here. The top one is aboriginal, the middle eastern European (I think) and the lower one represents all the Muslim people who live here. We have a very diverse population.
