Easter Baskets. Easter Bonnets, and Easter Parades

Does any town or city still do Easter Parades? I have never seen one in my lifetime. But there is at least one movie about Easter Parades. Do you make Easter baskets for your children or grandchildren? In one job I had as an Activity Director in a nursing home, I made two huge baskets for raffling off as a fund raiser. I made one for girls and one for boys. They had lots of fun goodies from candy to activity books and toys included. When I was little, it was still popular for little girls to have Easter bonnets for church. I can only remember one bonnet and I loved that pretty hat. Who remembers the song about the Easter bonnet and the parade? Judy Garland and Fred Astaire. I hope this link works. It seems like now the only time ladies wear the big bonnets is for the Kentucky Derby and maybe the other big horse races.
