Passengers who were aboard an airboat in West Miami-Dade area in Florida are thankful that an accident when their airboat fell into the swampy waters near Everglades National Park on Friday afternoon when David Gonzalez who was in his airboat went into his rescue mode and picked up the nine passengers and the boat operator from the swamp and get them out of danger.
After the rescue of the passengers and boat operator was complete, officials with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) arrested the boat operator who is employed by the Coopertown Airboat Rides for failure to have a license from the United States Coast Guard (USCG)
The time that the passengers were in the water was around 10 to 15 minutes when they were rescued by David.
There were alligators in the water when the boat accident happened but only one passenger suffered an injury in the incident but the injured passenger do not need to be taken to the hospital for treatment.

That's scary! Even the thought to be in water for 10-15 minutes chokes me. Thank God that they are safe and the one has just minor injury. The boat operator needs a strict legal action against him.

I am in agreement with you that the boat operator needs to be punished for his actions.

@Deepizzaguy It's a big crime. He has risked so many lives. It needs a tough legal dealing so that others are scared to repeat the same in the future.

I'm so glad the passengers were rescued from the alligator-filled waters.

My first thought were the alligators. That's the first thing that comes to my mind when I read the term 'Everglades'.

My first thought about the Everglades was the infamous airplane crashes in that region.
