A puzzling afternoon

I received a new version of the Find It tube puzzle game this morning--this time the beach edition. My neighbor and I spent about 30 minutes finding half of the stuff and then we got bored so we moved on to a jigsaw puzzle we've been working on. It is 1000 pieces and really tough! We had fun working on it, chatting, and laughing.
She has gone back downstairs to take a nap because she is going out tonight. I am going to keep at it for a bit because I have some time before I need to start making dinner.
I love puzzles. They keep your mind exercised.

What is a find it tube puzzle?
My husband finished a jigsaw puzzle last week that he has been working on for two winters (he doesn't do puzzles during golf season). It was hard because it is a golf course picture so a lot of green. Now my girls think it's time for me to bring The Last Supper puzzle out that they gave me 2 Christmases ago.

@NJChicaa Cool. So you don't open it? A long time ago when my kids were little, we had a game (still have it actually) that was a blue dome with a hole to put your hand in. You had to correctly identify the item your hand was holding... or maybe you had to draw a card to find the object. I don't remember it was so long ago. But it was fun. I wish I could play these games with my kids again. I tried to get them to play a game on Easter but they seem to be the eat and run type of people. I miss having kids.

You are right that puzzles are a good way to keep our mental health going.

I don't really have the patience for puzzles, but I do like word puzzles.

I love puzzles, too. The more pieces, the bigger the challenge. I have often done them with my children and grandchildren and enjoyed that, too.

I love your title for this post! It is not what I thought the post was going to be about. I like to do puzzles but not by myself. I find it boring by myself. I do some puzzle games on my phone and that's fun, plus no pieces scattered around my house!

I put together puzzles on Facebook..it is called Jigsaw World. I can do a 400 piece in less than 2 hours. I have a few over 1,000 pieces. Took me 3 hours to do one of those. So much easier to do them on line...no missing pieces.

Puzzles keep your mind active. I have not put one together in a long time.
