Is rainbow a sign of hope for you? / myLot

Today we had rain and a rainbow appeared. We don't see rainbows often. Many cultures think that rainbows are a sign of hope. I enjoy seeing them, but some people are thrilled when they see rainbows. I noticed how happy my mom was when she saw it. I don't feel such happiness when I see a rainbow. Is rainbow a sign of hope for you?

i must say it is. i reminds me of my childhood. i think rainbows were more often back then, as you said and, overall, i feel happy and relaxed,like good things will happen or something. also, there is a book here by the same name by one author here, where the main character was a small girl, named rainbow and her wish was to go under an actual rainbow and to become a boy cause, she though she would have more fun as a boy so, i get reminded by this too. sadly, it is a tragic story.

I don't know this story. But if it's tragic it's better to avoid it. Lately I can read only positive things.

@dya80dya end is tragic but her wish was so strong through the whole book. it was a children's book;what kind of literature school gave us, really

I like rainbows they are colorful and they mean that the rain is over!

@dya80dya Yes we have rain here too. We actually had 2 rainbows at the same location. One had stronger colors and was lower in the sky, and the second was higher and the colors were fading.

@dya80dya Rainbow is believed to be a sign of hope in our country.Our country attained freedom on August 15;1947;and I have read that a rainbow appeared when our national flag was unfurled.
