I'm glad I went on a little property walk this morning. The unruly grass was wet but it was fairly warm and settled out. I spotted more strawberry blooms though its early for them to bloom. The grape start has leaf buds on it. Just fresh out. Yesterday it was stormy and this side of hailing most of the day.
I looked out my window a bit ago and realized it was raining again. A chubby brown bird perched on the arch and later a starling landed on its upper length.
The birds appear to think we installed a bird perch! Moxe pup appears to think she moved into her own private dog park. She is a stinker at night. I let Moxe and Rufus out for their final bathroom run. Fine. Five minutes later, I am at the door, ready to head up to bed. Rufus is ready to go. Moxe is where?? Somewhere at the back of the property or she is working on a huge case of the Zoomies. Twice now I have had to get out of my robe, put a coat on, shoes, and head down the front steps. Finally she will appear. "Got the zoomies, Mom!" Grrrrr from Mom.
Garbanzos are busy boiling soft. I started them early so that I would know for sure that I had protein in tonight's supper.
I hope everyone is having a grand day and not feeling too frustrated by whatever comes your way.

I'm having a great day but Roscoe will be restricted to being tied by that 50' leash I bought him, the lil stinker started digging to try to get to the new neighbors so now I have to try to figure out a way to prevent him from digging on that side. He's not having the greatest day but he's also not learning that he can't just dig anywhere he wants ..... I haven't a clue how to make him stop digging.

@rebelann Digging is a huge horror in so many ways. I think both dogs are responsible for a big mess under a front shrub and that also means filthy feet and dirty floor. Moxe refuses to go into the shower to be hosed off. We found a long piece of wire to put over the spot in the strawberry bed that was dug up and so far that is helping there. I wish you much luck.

@LindaOhio You would love how these pups zoom around a shed then put on the brakes and peek around the corner to see where the other dog is.

Today was my day to have a break. My brother in-law stayed with my husband while my sister and I spent a day quilting at our local quilt shop.
