I guess it's more or less telling me I'm at the age of getting old & falling apart, which I'm not ready for & all this time no 1 said I was a big pain in the neck. But I guess it happens to the best of us in our lives so now we have to live with it & see if I can work on getting better to battle this as I progress in age. From what I can see from this, is the therapy going to help or even make a difference, can you tell me ? cause what's the sense in therapy if it won't help. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Procedure Description: CERVICAL SPINE 2-3 VIEWS 72040 Indication: Neck pain. Thank You for the article, I just went through it & it makes sense to me cause at 1 time I went through this but it didn't last long so that may be what they have to do again to see if it helps. But see it's like I told my Dr, I don't have pain just the dizziness when I look up, so rather it helps or not I don't know but something has to be done I just pray it won't be surgery to fix it.

Although I don't know what's involved with the therapy, it'd probably be good to try the alternative options before resorting to surgery. Did the doctors explain what all this meant and how the therapy could work?

@2ndchances24 I hope all goes well (or did go well) with your wellness appointment! Yah, I'd want this stuff explained to me and I'd have a zillion questions.

No it was just her nurse that called & told me what my Dr said so being I have to go for my wellness visit tomorrow I hope to hear from her about it.

@much2say Well it went good but now I have to concentrate on what's going on with my neck that's causing me dizziness.

I'd say therapy can help and the exercises they recommend in physiotherapy are very good. Different therapists can give different results I believe, better to try a few before you commit if you have the option. Hope all goes well.

@2ndchances24 I think you doctor might advise on the next steps if that doesn't work.

I'll try anything if it will help but if it don't THEN what do I do?? being it's not to help pain, but to stop the dizziness.

Over 25 years ago, driving a taxi, our Tax Collector T-boned me. I was trying to avoid hitting her after she pulled out in front of me..anyway, I went to a Chiropractor..I couldn't even climb upon the table, they had to put me on a special one, that I would stand on a steel piece, hold on to railings, as they lowered the table down..anyway, after several visits, of getting ice packs, tens treatments. and massages, I had no more pain..they gave me exercises to do to strengthen my back, and knee. Another timei I was rearended by guys from KY on Spring Break...went to a different Chiropractor..all they did was use something like a cattle prod to jolt my back. Would never go back there. You need massage, and someone to give you exercises you can do too help, I still do those exercises and stretches. Really Helps.

@Ghostlady so have they done anything to correct it?

HUM?? I knew some 1 that had to use a tens unit for her back cause she was t boned in her taxi cab, I don't know if it helped but yeah I know what that is, it's like a shock treatment. But I don't have no pain, I have Dizzy spells looking up, so I'm wondering if that's even going to help STOP them or what will be next to help it stop, I have no idea if anything they do is going to help.

@2ndchances24 Could it be Vertigo? I have Vertigo and when I look up I get dizzy. But it is when I lay flat on my back not at an angle..that it REALLY spins. They keep saying that it is caused from my Right Ear, but you can also get it from damage to the C1 thru C5 in your neck. I have bulging discs in my neck from the wrecks I have been in. So I wonder sometimes if that could be causing the Vertigo. I went to an Audiologist and they put me in a weird contraption, and said it was my right ear causing it.

You can benefit a lot with the correct therapy. I could avoid surgery to my shoulder thanks to a good physiotherapist.

I gonna do whatever needs to be done & TRY my BEST to avoid surgery as LONG as I can, but I can't do what needs to be done if I can't look up without getting dizzy.

@2ndchances24 There are those that find therapy helpful and those that find it not helpful. Yes, when we get older things happen to us.
