If I could have any dog, it would be a Husky, that's probably a favorite....but
I always grew up with dogs like Shih-tzus and Pekingnese, terriers, and now my mom's dog is a Havanese

When I was married to my last husband he had a Blue Heeler. He was the smartest dog I have ever been around. I would like to have another. I also like German Sheppards and I think Jack Russell's are cute dogs. I don't know anything about them but they are cute. Little dogs drive me nuts but if they are good dogs I might not mind. I usually go for medium sized dogs.

Blue Heelers are beautiful I know what you mean. Yes little dogs can be 'yappy'.

@RebeccasFarm Yes, they love their families and will defend them at any cost. Except for a dog we had when I was a kid. We locked ourselves out of the house and had to break a small window to get in. We found the dog hiding under a bed.
