Very long rain and flooding in several places

The last few days where I live there has been heavy rain which lasted for a very long time. It rained from 5 pm until noon the next day. This slightly hinders residents' activities, especially since we are celebrating Eid al-Fitr. Many places have been flooded for the past 3 days so they cannot celebrate Eid al-Fitr. Hopefully the disaster will end soon.

Are you in the middle east? Unfortunately as much as rain is needed in that part of the world, the cities are not built for rain. When I lived in Middle East it would flood and water would enter the buildings. But after the rain the sky was so clear, without dust.

I live in Southeast Asia, specifically in Indonesia. Here the roads and buildings also cannot accommodate rainwater, so the water overflows

@anggunwk Flooding is because the design of the rainwater probably hasn't considered the proper rainfall values. I am not sure how and if the roads have been designed but normally you would design for the 1 in 100 years flood event. Since they flood almost every year I assume something was missed!

@besweet Here I make sure that roads and buildings are simply built, if they have been hit by a flood then there will be deep repairs, but we can't fight nature.
