I recently read that General Motors plans to end gas cars. I just find it crazy this world is going to all electric eventually.
Electric cars are cool don't get me wrong, but for one there crazy expensive to even buy and if the battery goes out, I read they cost $30,000 just to replace. That's a whole entire vehicle you could buy.
I live in Michigan so the winter season would never work out because the battery would die so quick in the cold.

Politicians stupidity. Switzerland wants to BAN gas powered vehicles by the year 2030! Really? How they would arrive to drive up in the mountains where there is snow 9 months every year and the temperature is below 32 F most time of the year? Not to mention that we will have not enough electricity.

that's what I'm saying & for those that CAN & CAN'T afford them
is ANOTHER reason why they're not going to be very popular.

@sabtraversa They have charging stations and the battery power does not even last enough to reach the valley in winter. The colder the temperature the less a battery lasts. It this even happens to our smartphones in winter! Imagine a car. They are already telling us NOT to install A/C because it pollutes and we must try not to waste electricity. I wonder what they have in mind! Thirty minutes with the little train and I up up there in summer.

@sabtraversa Several electric cars went "on fire" during the night. I hope they come out with something more reliable before to oblige people to buy one. The small train that goes up is a lot safer than the car on that road.

Going all electric with vehicles isn't going to happen in our
life time EVEN THOUGH they have them out now, but & I
do mean BUT that doesn't mean we can afford them, SO
that means they're not going to be going very far for US.
