Ryan Pasch who resides in Virginia Beach Virginia is happy that he used his $5 tip that a satisfied customer gave him on Thursday April 4 which Ryan used to spend his tip money to buy a Strike It Rich lottery ticket that paid off with Ryan winning a prize worth $150,000 dollars.
I just am wondering what are the odds of anyone playing a lottery scratch off ticket like Ryan did buying a scratch off lottery ticket at a gasoline station to purchase gasoline and winning a huge lottery prize in the first place?
In my case since I am a person who believes in saving money for rainy days instead of playing lottery tickets, I would pass on playing a scratch off lottery ticket.

And I am like you, I am always saving money for a rainy day. I never buy lottery tickets. Yes, I purchased scratch off tickets years ago and won $10, once or twice. Not any more!

I am a firm believer in saving my money based on my needs and not my wants.

@Deepizzaguy And I am also. I grew up poor, we couldn't squander the money or we'd do without something. I learned at a young age, the beauty of having a savings. Something unexpected comes up, I have cash to cover it. My vehicle needs something fixed, I get it repaired!

I have been advised to only lottery games if I can afford to lose money.

That is very true that winning a huge prize in the lottery is against most people.

Same with me when I used to play the lottery before I quit due to financial stress.

I guess he might have been feeling lucky, and so took a chance with that tip money, as he had got his fare for the ride anyway.
Very lucky indeed to win a big prize like that.
