Watching serpents while the kubbe is getting cold. Wildlife and human beings.

I put together all the ingredients to make kubbe, a typical Lebanese food. I like it raw. Although fried kubbe is delicious, I don´t have the energy to make the little ball and fry them. I don´t even make fried cheese empanadas anylonger and have to wait for Leticia to do them for me. Raw kubbe has to be left in the fridge for a long time. I´ll be very hungry when I eat them. So meanwhile I came to my bedroom with yet another cup of coffee. There, on TV, people are gathering serpents that are hidden in houses and take them far away from human beings. I´m sure that the beasts will come back. Humans are dirty. And they leave food in such way that it is as if they were calling wild animals. Only yesterday I say a terrible documentary where 2 beautiful bear cubs went to eat at a lodge. The stooped hoomen even gave them scraps to take pictures. But the cubs were not orphans. That night their mom destroyed the house. The "brilliant" photographer got away unharmed by a miracle. Have you eaten Lebanese food? Many decades ago we had many Lebanese immigrants. They worked hard. Now there are many of them that are some of the richest people in my country. Some just stayed in the neighborhood where they lived when they arrived. There are delicious restaurants, some of them not even so expensive. See you in a while. I´ll check if my raw meat has "cooked" in the lemmon I added.

Lebanese food is delicious, specially if you like spicy food. This is made mainly with ground meat and couscous (bulgur) and other ingredients. It can be fried or served raw.

I have had Lebanese food, but not recently. When I lived in Arlington many years ago, we were not far from a Lebanese restaurant.

I like it very much bur there is not a restaurant where I live. I found a nice one near the Hospital I used to go to. The last time I went there, I invited Camila who took me to the dermatologist who took out a small skin cancer there.
