Alice in Wonderland Ballet

Good afternoon from sunny, warm Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's slightly breezy, but not like yesterday. The current temperature is 64 F.
I just got home from the ballet. It was wonderful. It was held at a local church. The artists were all girls and did a fantastic performance. The young lady who played Alice did magnificent. The Mad Hatter has wonderful balance. Her choreography would have landed me on my backside. The Queen of Hearts danced like a professional. The girls ranged in age from 7-18. It was easy to see the levels of their expertise with the performance. It was superb in every aspect.
I wish I could have taken pictures, but it was too dark and the ballet would have blurred all the pictures. So, I only have memories.
The woman I rode with from here has two granddaughters who worked with the ballet. One was the set designer and did a lot of the artwork. My friend who took me, did all the bonnets for the girls. She's a fantastic seamstress. Her other daughter who also arrived at the last minute from Atlanta, is a ballerina with the Ballet Magnificat. I saw a performance with her last year before she began her training in Atlanta for the Ballet Magnificat. They didn't know if she would arrive on time as she had flight delays getting here.
I was very happy we had seats in the third row, so I had a good view of the stage and performance.
That's how I spent my afternoon. Have you been to a ballet, professional or otherwise? Thanks for reading. The picture is one from a hallway corner table. It has many butterflies on the bouquet. The picture belongs to me.

@just4him this was taken before a ballet recital, The ones that were wearing those hats were supposed to be pretending to ride horses. It was fun to do all kinds of different ballets,

@RasmaSandra That's a cute ballet costume.
That's great. I can see how the hat makes it look like a hat for riding a horse.

It was.
Notice, I even worked on my book before I left. (Hint, hint)

I hadn't either until my friend invited me to the one her granddaughter danced in last year. It was a wonderful performance.
