I leave the front door ajar for the kitties

Now that the weather is nice I let the cats go in and out while I am at home.
Bob says that Bitty brought in a stick.
I asked if he meant it was tangled in her fur, and he said "No, she carried in a stick."
The stick is a piece of bark or something light, about an inch around and six inches long. Silly cat played with it a bit, then just left it laying for mom to pick up. Story of my life.
Must have been a sight to see.

Yes, indeed. The cat we had when my mom and I came back to Boise caught a mouse one night and did the same as your cat did with the stick. Ugh!

It is odd indeed for a cat to be bring home a stick from outside to your home.

As Kayla says, at least it was just a stick.

My niece's friend had "Daniffs" (Bull Mastiff/Great Dane). The "stick" they brought in through the doggie door was a fallen branch.

Since my cats now are indoor cats I remember from days past in Lavia, We always got little presents like field mice, small birds, and assorted bugs and grasshoppers,

That would have been funny. Bitty has a whole lot of character.

My cat gets bored too. Things she used to like not sure she likes them still.

Well, just be careful...JJ leaves his door open a bit at times for his kitties...he looked up that one day and had a masked bandit walk right in!
