What is the last thing your child/grandchild got excited about? Those of you with fur babies, what was the last thing yours got excited about? This picture is of my 8 year old nephew (he has fetal alcohol syndrome - he’s adopted), who has sensory issues. His parents put up a sensory swing for him this weekend, and he absolutely loves it.
As for my fur baby, Sadie, she got excited about some Chicken Chips with Broccoli. Yummy, huh?

I went into the kitchen to get something, Chilly took this to mean food. Wasn't long before I had a tail on my legs and a meow.

Nico was excited a few minutes ago when some sort of bug got in the house. Actually, I think it might be more like a salamander..if I see it, I am going to sweep it out the door!

@AmbiePam He takes his duties seriously..especially if the intruder happens to be a moth. That is a very cute pic of Hudson.

@snowy22315 Oh, those moths…
Thank you, Snowy. Hudson also got a bubble wall recently, and it helps calm his frequent pacing.

Your nephew's swing is awesome . . . I would have wanted that as a kid (or even now)!!! He looks like he's loving it!
College daughter got excited about meeting this classmate that has become a friend .
Almost-high-school son went to the Farmer's Market with his friends from school - apparently that turned out to be a pretty cool evening for them that they're going to go ever other week from now on.

@AmbiePam So true, right? I will say there are tons more food vendors and such at Farmers Markets these days - more than just tables of fruits and vegetables as it was back in the day . I have always loved going to Farmers Markets !

I’ve never heard of a sensory swing. I can see his excitement.

He looks so happy sitting in his own special swing chair.
What a great idea!
My hubs put the new seat cover on the back seat in our car yesterday, and Willow and Harper were really taken by it. They kept on saying pretty, and asking to touch it.
There are little leather paws up near the adjustable headrests all had to be touched.

@AmbiePam They are trying to be independent. When they want to do something, usually something that they are not allowed to do, they will tell Grandpa 'go away, I do it meself'. Not myself, meself.
Sometimes they will chatter together and try to do something not allowed at the same time, but Grandpa will tell them, no you come over here and behave yourselves.

My fur babies only get excited about their Friskies Seafood dry food and their clean litter box, They have a cat tree they don't use any more and toys they don't care about,

That sensory swing looks so cool. Hudson certainly looks like he's enjoying it.
Mush was excited that I let her lick my yogurt container when I was finished. Of course I left her enough to lick to make it worth her while

@AmbiePam she loves to share anything and everything. She gets very sad eyes if I have chocolate and tell her she can't have any.

Cute picture. We don't have any children in our family; and we no longer have fur babies. Sigh. Our dogs used to go bananas when a package would come to the house. They'd sniff all over it to see if there was something inside for them. Often there was!!!! Have a good day.
