Twins story.

At the Easter celebration camp, we were told a story of twins that were separated. The twins were born. Their mother died while giving birth. One was adopted by a rich family and the younger was adopted by a poor family. The elder twin became a judge and the younger one became a criminal. The elder one was searching for the other twin but never found him. One day they met in court. They looked alike and the elder knew it was his twin brother. After checking the criminal records, the younger twin deserved a death sentence. The elder twin was sad and didn't want his younger twin to die. The younger complained that he had a miserable life and that is why he became a criminal. The elder thought on what to do. When it was one day left to pass the death sentence, the elder visited the younger and asked him to do what he says. He told the younger twin to remove his prison uniform. They exchanged uniforms and the younger was free. But the younger thought about his elder twin brother and couldn't sleep. He went back to prison and confessed. An investigation was done and his confession was found to be true. But he received a phone call that his elder brother was already killed. The question is, will the younger twin be returned to prison and be condemned to death after his elder twin had already paid the price? No. This story teaches us that Jesus as our elder brother already died on the cross for our sins and through his sacrifice we have obtained eternal life. We are no longer condemned. Though we die, we will live. The resurrection power of Jesus Christ is in our life.
