The great earthquake in San Francisco happened 118 years ago today in 1906. It was commemorated in San Francisco today with some people wearing period costume from 1906. Former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown spoke at the rememberance.

Me too. There were people dressed as firefighters from 1906. Emergency services were sorely needed back then.
