Handmade gifts

Vietnam

On my husband's birthday on April 20, my eldest daughter made a gift for him. It is a colorfully colored cardboard box. When you open the lid, the box will pop out, bubbles will fly up, and inside will be a paper car and congratulations. The little girl drew a large card with flowers and wrote her wishes. I feel very happy because the children made such small gifts with their own hands. I always encourage them to create gifts from the heart, not depending on money.

These are precious. I used to make such gifts for my parents. My mom was so happy that she almost cried.

You remind me of something. I once made a cake (failed!) for my mother on March 8th. She grumbled that I was wasting money. But I discovered later that she brought the cake to her friends (even though the cake was not delicious!)

This is great! It's very sweet and I am sure it made your husband very glad, too.
