What a day to start the week... The deadline for tax payment was April 20 and when the client will be charged penalty if paid today she said we are heartless. Taxpayers should monitor schedule of their government obligation and not rant in front of us who are merely implementing the law.

That’s got to be annoying. We have to know the laws, and really should by now. Even the younger generation has to be prepared. I understand she might be stressed, but it doesn’t make it your fault.

That's correct it seems that she we are causing her distress. Whatever is happening to her business it's not our concern.. It's her management at fault not us.

They must be aware that if they violate the law it should be penalized.

This is how most business people react if penalized. They always put the blame on us the implementor and accusing us of not reminding them which is absurd because they received the notice.

Law abiding citizens do that. Some of these complaining clients are the ones who's trying to evade by under declaring their income.

Yes, I got our taxes done in February, way in advance of the deadline. People need to watch those deadlines.
