The Firm was released in 1993. Based off the John Grisham novel of the same name. The film was rated R for language, violence, and sexual situations. The story follows a top Harvard Law School graduate who gets a very good offer from a law firm. Once relocated to Memphis and passing the bar exam he must turn in his firm to save himself from the wrong doings of his firm. This legal thriller star Tom Cruise as Mitch. Also packed with other big names like Gene Hackman, Ed Harris, and Holly Hunter to name a few. The acting is good and the story interesting. Tom Cruise is Tom, not what I would say is a great actor but somehow in many good films. Though I seen this one back when it was first released and thought it was good then I just watched it again and it was still good, and I would suggest it as one to watch. I would give it 4 of 5 stars. My two minor complaints would be the actress that plays Mitch’s wife (Jeanne Tripplehorn) just doesn’t convince me she should be the wife. The other is Tom Cruise just seem like so many of the other characters he has played. Overall it is worth a watch and will take up about two and a half hours of your time.

Yes A Few Good Men was a good movie. Being a former Marine maybe that's why I liked it so much.

Thank you for sharing the review of the movie. I used to read John Grisham s court room dramas during college time. They were all good. I would like to watch this movie.

I read the book and saw the movie many years ago. I've thought about watching it again but I wonder if I would be disappointed?
