Hi, there! How's your day going? It's another weekend. My gosh, this week went by so fast.
Today is laundry day, but I had a late start, so I'm only doing one load and another tomorrow. We're at 33°C, but it looks like it's about to rain. yay.
Anyway, I haven't eaten anything yet. I'll make myself something first, be right back.

Hi Joy!
My day has been good. I am just inside the house working on some things with my laptop. It is great that you are having a productive weekend even with laundry and weather to contend with. Cross-stitching sounds like a lovely way to spend your time.

My mother loved to cross-stitch. I tried to do it, but I can't keep the needle threaded. I do diamond paintings (crystal art is what it is sometimes called). They are like cross-stitch, but with little rhinestones. Saturday I started a new hobby called needle felting. It's hard. I couldn't mix one color right, but I think it will be okay.

I also struggled with the needle at first, but finally got used to it.
I was going to try diamond painting, which I'd never done before but I couldn't find a nice design, so I went with cross-stitch instead.
This is the first time I've heard of needle felting. I'll check it out.
