They stayed late

The men finishing up the heating and air conditioning stayed late, so they would not have to come back.
Something else that got fixed is the venting on my dryer. It was supposed to vent to the roof (not efficient ) but I have always vented into the room. Think lots of dust.
On his final run through the heat and air guy left the furnace on. I did not realize that. No wonder I was hot in the night.
The cats will enjoy a peaceful day.
So he can keep the van, Bob will take me to work. I need to pack a lunch.
See you all this evening.

There are a lot of "little things" in process here, and I am thankful.

It is a great deal. Disrupting to life but it will be a real improvement.

Don't most dryers vent directly to the outside through the wall? I've never heard of them venting through the roof.

The dryers in this house when it was a duplex were not on an outside wall. So they vented to the roof, which is now not in "code". So I have one dryer hookup. It is vented through the floor to the crawlspace and then out the crawlspace wall.

I'm glad that project is done. It's been hot here; and I finally turned the AC on. Have a good day.
