I have a cat. She is a tortoiseshell calico. We paid quite a lot for our dog but I don't know if I would pay for a cat.

I have two cats. Both are rescued. One is a long haired 16 lb. tom. The other is a tiny tortie girl. They are wonderful. I had a Siamese lilac and a Persian once. But, so many cats need homes, that I didn't get a pure breed this time. Besides, there are too many puppy and kitty mills out there, and that upsets me a lot.

I have 3 "ordinary" cats, no special breed. I would not pay lots of money for a certain breed. What is the point, unless you are going to breed from it yourself or show it. The prices people charge for animals is disgraceful and vet bills on top of that too - you'd have to be a very rich person indeed!

I have three cats and all were adopted from my local animal shelter. No, I would never pay for a specific breed as I feel there are too many unwanted cats already in need of a home. That is just my opinion though, I would never put anyone down for going to a breeder if they really wanted a specific type of cat.

I have 2 cats and I really dont care what breed they are. I adopted them from a local animal shelter and all I care about is that they are well taken care of, which I know they are because I am taking care of them.

Since I was a child, I always have cats for my pet. I really want an Anggora since I have bought a persian for big bucks. I like dog too, but I just prefer cat.:D
