This guy keeps fact-checkers in business! He is serious job security. On his way out of court this afternoon he spoke because of course he did. He cannot keep his mouth shut. Along with his usual litany of whiny complaints and lies he added something new. He said that due to the gag order he is not allowed to testify in this case about falsified business records. Um LIE. The "gag order" that Judge Merchan issued (and then updated) states that Trump cannot speak publicly about potential and actual witnesses, the jury, court staff, and members of court staff's family. He is still free to bash and lie about the judge presiding over the case and the Manhattan DA, Alvin Bragg, all he wants. MAGA cult members who think he actually tells the truth will believe that he is somehow involved in an unfair trial. That is 100% not the case. He is just making stuff up and his brainwashed base believes it. P.S. I thought it was HYSTERICAL that he wore an orange tie to court today.
