Another Inspection

We just got another letter from Housing left on the door this afternoon. It seems that we are going to be having another inspection toward the end of this month. It has to do with HUD's REAC(Real Estate Assessment Center). So, not only are we having another inspection on May 8 because we didn't pass the first HQS one(due to gnats) but we will have another inspection on May 20. They will be looking to see if there is any repairs that need to be done. We don't need any repairs. It took us years to finally get the back porch light fixed. Housing maintenance looked at it several times and then finally scheduled an actual electrician to come out and he fixed it. Nice to finally have that light working. The electrical in that part of the apartment was all messed up.
I hope this inspection will take the place of the usual property management one we have each year. We usually have two each year. One HQS and one property management. Ugh!
So, my stress level is going to be up there for the month of May. Then I am hoping that they leave us alone for a while.

They are. We don't have strangers in the house very often. We don't socialize. So it is very stressful. Plus I worry about other aspects as well.

@LadyDuck .......I understand fully. I don't either. We had some little kids that would come in here with my grandson when he was younger. They would STEAL from us. Their mother even backed them up. It definitely takes all kinds to make up this world of ours.

@celticeagle We only have a couple of friends who visit us time by time, we do not like strangers in the house.

@celticeagle At least you might not feel so alone. I would flunk any inspection invented.

@sallypup ........My situation here is frustrating because my daughter has that learning disability and takes little or no pride in her home. Trying to get her, at age 52, to get into any kind of schedule and remember what needs to be done is very frustrating. I love her dearly but, I want to shake her at times.
