9 days has passed after my father passed away

My father's death was more than nine days ago. It seems like time is flying by, and May 1st was his ninth day. Given that it was a holiday, my stepmother and I gathered with my family to commemorate and perform the nine-day novena prayer for him. Our get-together, where we shared stories with friends and neighbors, was both sad and joyful. I was a little relieved that my father's final two years were spent in relative comfort and happiness and that someone had genuinely offered to love and take care of him. To show how my father lived his life from our son's perspective, we prepared a video presentation of him. I said a somber goodbye to my stepmother at the end of the day, and we agreed to stay in touch even after my father passed away. Regardless of their age, I believe my dad found someone who truly loved him without conditions.
