What's for din? May 7th, 2024

Hey! Yeah, it's late. I know it. LOL But neither kiddo went to school today, one had a migraine- the other a fever and sore throat. He child saw the doctor. She child is going tomorrow. Anyway- since the schedule was thrown off for today, I am not that worried about them not eating at dinner time. Maybe I should be, but hey they are being fed and that's what's important. Anyhow. I made homemade sausage gravy and biscuits, and that is part of why we are eating so late. My gravy is simple- sausage, grease, milk, flour and some seasoning. Nothing that thrilling. So that's what's for dinner tonight. I would have a picture but, both phones are dead, and this 2-in-one takes horrible pictures. I guess I'll try to take one of the gravy while the biscuits finish up. What did you have for dinner tonight?

Hi April, the gravy sounds good. I finally got the chance to make carnivore-crisps last night, they’re just cheese, eggs, pork panko, and then I switched up the recipe a bit and added a little double-O flour and everything bagel seasoning. Roll it all out with rolling pin and then take a round cookie cutter to make each crisp. 15 mins in oven @ 350. These turned out surprisingly well, and yes they were crispy. They would go good with the gravy I think

I make very similar gravy, but use bacon instead. Not very hungry this evening and I had beans on toast, just one slice of toast

You are KILLING me with these gravy and biscuit mentions. It's been ages and I don't have them since the wife doesn't like them, and if I go out I always choose an omelet over them. I am doomed.
