Busy days and lazy days

I've been thinking of stopping back in for a week or more now but never quite get here and not always because I'm busy. We began washing residential customer windows three weeks ago. I hired another worker, my son in law. He was hoping to get into Costco but didn't. He may stay with us unless he gets something better.
For those that haven't heard I was able to retire from my cashiering job this past December. I talked about pain I was having late winter into early spring which was probably sciatica. I got checked out by my Dr to make sure it wasn't something concerning and it has pretty much healed up since then.
My lower back is still bad but Dr thinks I might have arthritis there since I have it in some of my joints and my neck. But otherwise I'm doing much better than before I saw him.
My sister, T, that lives here and I have still been going to Detroit almost weekly and we're making progress with cleaning out my sister, M's junk in Detroit hoping that when we officially move her up here that it will be mostly furniture and furnishings like kitchen ware etc.
I didn't go to Detroit this week because I'm driving my husband to Ann Arbor tomorrow for an appt. That isn't quite as far as Detroit but even though we go yearly I don't know the way perfectly.
There's construction near the Drs office where we're going tomorrow and it took a person 45 mins to cross a short bridge, so we're leaving 1.5 hrs earlier than normal just in case.
I now have about thirty books published on Amazon. Most are college ruled journals but I've been making logbooks too. Several mylotters gave me ideas of ones I could do.
A YouTuber I follow says that's where he makes most of his income, with logbooks and planners etc. in five ish years he's sold 53,000 books.
My image once I post it is of my red bud tree. It's in front of a red maple.

That's a lovely image.
Sciatica can be really annoying and painful. My husband had this for few years and even now it brothers him at times. But once in blue moon.
I am glad that you feel much better now.
Hope all goes well with your husband's appointment.

Mostly the Dr checks a healed wound and has him go for labs. I'm hoping as we get older she will let us get the work done at our hospital and send the lab reports to her.

@TheHorse in my opinion much of the human race have problems with their back at one time or another. It's been three weeks and I'm still waiting on results of X-rays taken of my lower back.
I got both knees replaced, once in 2017 the other in 2019. Thankfully my hips seem to be okay. I hope those don't get arthritis as I get older yet. I have an aunt that had hip surgery when she was 91.

@MarshaMusselman Mine started in my 30s. Having a horse for much of my adult life probably didn't kelp my lower back. My fingers seem to be OK at this point.

@MarshaMusselman I hope we both live long and prosper. I forget names now and again, but I think I still have most of my marbles.

When I'm busy, I'm busy but otherwise I spend too much time playing my games our watching a few shows or napping. I have so much I want to accomplish before I get much older or the arthritis makes it harder to manage.

Thank you. I have to get a lot more on their platform before I see a larger amount of sales. I did sell one to someone in Australia which I thought was pretty cool. Most of the ones I've sold was to friends.

@LadyDuck I thought mine was from using my snow blower but my Dr doesn't think so. I don't remember whether it was bothering me before I retired.

I'm glad it only took about three months to heal. My mom had it for about five years.

Some of it's painful but some areas only hurt when you move wrong.

It's always good to see you here and find out what's been going on with your busy days.
I feel bad for your husband. I have sciatica which flairs up occasionally. It certainly is painful.
Hope you get lots of sales on your books, journals

I'm not sure why you feel bad for my husband. I was the one that had sciatica.
He's had his share of problems mostly related to blood clots in his legs. The Dr he saw today believes he had an infection in his blood in 2019 because he had a hernia that he didn't get checked. The hernia was caused by blood seeping out of a vein in his thigh. So she has him in an antibiotic the rest of his life and sees him yearly for that.
I'm sure I'll have lots of sales if I can be patient and continue to put them out. The next one I make might be a fishing logbook. I used my AI app to come up with some images which I'll edit before designing the cover. I'll put one of them here in a minute.

@just4him the and arbor appt was today. I might have replied to your response while my husband was seeing the Dr. And it was the trip there that had the delay but not where we thought it was going to be. It was closer to home and probably an accident. The way back home was a breeze.

@MarshaMusselman No, you didn't.
I must have misread, but I thought you were leaving today for Ann Arbor. I'm glad it didn't take as long to get there, but I'm sorry it took longer to get home because of the accident.

Did your parents or any relatives have it? My mom had it but I'm the only one of my siblings that is bothered with it.

So you know that what I've published are things like journals, looks and planners? I began learning the process of designing them in September of last year.
I was putting one together each week to upload to kdp and recently found out that I am allowed to do three or day if I so choose. Although I took this past week of from making any. I need to get back to the drawing board.

I've been suffering Sciatic pain since March until now... March and April was the worst days that I cannot really walk... been to Orthopedic many times and took all kinds of pain reliever but no effect until the last time I went to Orthopedic, he recommended this lumbar support. I stop taking pain reliever instead I use the lumbar support ..now I am doing better although I still feel slight pain on my lower back but it's bearable..

Is the lumbar support something you wear during the day, sort of like a brace?
