All day, yesterday we heard about the storms to hit our area last night. Looking at the news, and seeing all the destruction and devastation in other states, I was uneasy all day long. Plus it was announced that the storm would hit around 9pm at night, which makes for worse for storms. I had already thought I'd be in my closet. Well, at, 9pm there were a couple of sounds of thunder but after that I didn't hear anything else. Going to watch the news and see where storms hit.

@popciclecold I'm glad it wasn't. I've seen pictures on the news. Some places are no more than matchsticks.

Oh, thank goodness you didn't get too much of the storm. That must have been a great relief to you.

I asked our local weather guy if they had a final total for tornado counts from this week. He said they’re still surveying in Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia. The Storms Prediction Center site had over 200 reports of tornadoes this week (that could easily be multiple reports of the same tornado).
I’m glad this week is over, weather-wise. It’s been hard with us under the threat, not to mention so many places I love and places where friends live being hit by storms.

Your part of the country is really getting hit with tornadoes. Seeing the devastation on the news is heartbreaking. Hope you didn't get hit with any bad storms overnight.

I'm glad the storms have passed you by. It can't be much fun spending time in a closet.
