Boo is My New Friend

Actually, I gave this cat the name, "Boo!" He's a feral cat, that sun's himself on our picnic table. The side porch is quite large and he enjoys laying out there during the afternoon. And if it starts to sprinkle, he goes underneath the table:)
This week, Boo had one eye closed. Tom cats have a tendency to fight. So, they often ends up with bites, scrapes and scratches, from a tangle they recently endured.
Today, his eye is doing better, this makes me feel relieved. There's absolutely nothing wrong with his appetite!
Yesterday, I put his dry cat food out in a dish. Three other feral cats showed up! Yikes, Boo is bringing friends home for dinner!
The last cat food I bought was the biggest bag on the shelf. I'm not sure, maybe 14-16 pounds. This will last a lot longer, than those small bags!

@TheHorse I'm believing that we have either opossums or raccoons that clean out, whatever the cats miss. Both these animals will eat absolutely anything!

@wolfgirl569 With the sore eyes, boric acid works good. Hospitals use this for newborns.

@kobesbuddy ........Yes, it sure is. My grandson was so good and patient in dealing with him. His hair is growing back. It was mostly gone and my grandson clipped some so it was easier to clean.

Boo is such a baby! The other feral cats are wild, they never act friendly. I can tell that Boo was a house-cat, he wants attention and the top of his head scratched:)

Larger bags of cat food will last longer than small bags of cat food indeed since my relatives and myself have to feed a few stray cats as well as our home cats.

I don't mind feeding these feral cats, most of them are afraid of humans. Boo comes right up to me, for attention:)

@Deepizzaguy Feral cats are like any other wild animal. They aren't domesticated pets.

We had an orange Tom cat that lived in our neighborhood, many years ago. He fought with every cat that ever lived nearby!

@kobesbuddy Some cats are very aggressive. We had one too and he chased all the cats in the neighborhood.
