Please read.
I don’t need responses, just an announcement.
A group of well-educated doctors and professionals have decided enough is enough when it comes to the ADA and their lies.
The American Diabetes Association has been dishing out the wrong advice for years now, and their dietary guidelines are laughable for those with diabetes. That’s why diabetes is actually getting worse, not better, and the numbers are rising, daily.
This wonderful team of carnivore docs is in the process of starting something called the ADS - The American Diabetes Society.
Tonight, I am happy to report that the project has finally launched and donations are already going toward the Society which will be in strong opposition to the American Diabetes Association, and hopefully stop them in their tracks from spreading misleading and downright harmful medical advice to those with diabetes and other metabolic conditions.
This is a very exciting night for the entire Carnivore Community, and I just wanted to share this and help get the word out to others.
If you cannot donate or choose not to, at least check out the video (link below) and see for yourself how these keto/ketovore/carnivore docs are about to change the history of medicine.
What an amazing night.
Have a great weekend, friends!

Hey Sharon, the ADA has been advising (for years now) that diabetics should be loading their plates with low-fat meats (horrible).. this will keep you full for maybe an hour or two.
They advise FRUITS which are basically all sugar, esp in a diabetic. The sugar spike from fruit would be the same as eating candy. They push low-fat everything, from skim milk - watered down white sugar water, to buttery “spreads” - just plain toxic. And then of course, the sugar-free syrups, desserts, sodas, etc.
Once the taste buds detect anything sweet, including the artificial sweeteners used in all sugar-free products, insulin will spike anyway.
So it doesn’t matter.
But by far, the worst of the worst .. “healthy cereals.” Big Food companies, specifically the Big Cereals, they are probably responsible for about 50% of the obesity rise we are seeing over the past few years.
Our wheat is not even grown the way it was 50 years ago. They do speed-growing now, and when all is said and done, you end up with a highly-processed wheat product to make the cereals, not to mention all the added sugar.
What’s up with all the overweight kids in schools these days? Well, their parents are feeding them cereal, pancakes & syrup, Pop Tarts, you name it. Instead of bacon & eggs, which would keep them full well into lunch, maybe even beyond that.
The key is to get away from the sweets and carbs, and eat whole, real foods like steak, butter, eggs, full-fat dairy. The more fat content, the more satiated you will feel. And then you will end up eating a lot less and more importantly, less often. Any time you eat anything, there will be an insulin spike. When you’re not eating every couple hours, insulin stabilizes and diabetes begins to reverse itself.
That’s when the magic happens.
I’m not diabetic, in fact, I’m the opposite, hypoglycemic. And following the Proper Human Diet has stopped the sugar crashes once and for all.

@Melanie_Marie Oh, I see. That does sound bad.
I eat a lot of whole foods. I'm on a macrobiotic diet which means I eat a lot of plant based stuff like tofu and soy milk, which has everything you get from dairy but without the arthritis!
