Icy roads cause a truck to spill beer on a highway

A truck that was traveling on Interstate 80 westbound hit an icy patch which caused the truck to overturn and spill beer on the interstate at Gold Run California on Monday May 6.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) had their crew clean up the fallen beer cans that were on the interstate while the stretch of the interstate between Rainbow and Cisco was closed.
The driver of the truck and a passenger suffered minor injuries due to the accident but they were released by the first responders at the scene.
The officials of the CHP have warned bystanders to stay away from the accident scene while they clean up the mess.
I know if I was in the area and had a sweet tooth concerning drinking beer, I would want to drink a can of beer that was on the interstate myself.

I'm glad they weren't hurt badly. A truck overturned close by my job, and it took HOURS to clear it up. They had to unload it first, and then get a special wrecker that could lift it up off its side. The guy misjudged an exit ramp off the highway and flipped it. I suppose he got fired for that, or at least REALLY yelled at.

It looks like that a lot of the cans remained intact, but with all the shaking, some might have exploded from the shaking, and spilled over the road, causing a stench, to be sure.
