I know it's the day before, but since we had a little bit of cash and a little bit of time. Chris took me to Fort Walton and Destin to make sure that I got to get a couple of things I have mentioned that I wanted for a while. They may seem dumb, silly and cheap to you, but it's exactly what I've wanted. We went and had a very cheap lunch at Taco Bell, and then went to Five Below. He got me another pair of the earbuds that I found a couple months ago and LOVE. They hold an amazing battery life, have a great sound quality and are really comfortable. Especially since they were only $8. I've been wanting to get back into my digital artwork and Etsy stuff, so he found me a two pack of stylus' for $4 and finally we went to Crumbl- because I have been wanting to go since my birthday last month. I got a Lemon Poppyseed cookie for $4.49. Our lunch total was $12.79. So I still think we did really good! We also picked up my Mother in Law's goodies. Again, we are on a budget. But she is so good to us, and does everything she can to help us in anyway possible- so I wanted to make sure we got her something. We found 6 oz bags of individual Turtle candies for buy one get one at Publix. They are her favorite candy. So for $4.94 we got two bags of her favorite candy. We found a clear "impossible" puzzle at Five Below for her that was $5.55. She loves puzzles and this will make her laugh. Then we got her a pretty sweet card at Dollar Tree for $1.00 and two gift bags to put her goodies in for $1.25 each. Didn't spend that much money on her stuff either, but it is stuff that will be meaningful to her, and it will surprise her that she even got a present. So that means more than something fancy. I didn't get a picture of her presents, but will grab one tomorrow when she opens them. Instead here's a picture of my goodies. Brook also made me a super adorable card, that I will post about tomorrow. Happy Mother's Day to @spiderdust . And that's bad...that's the only mother I can think of and their username to tag. LOL but happy mothers day to all the other moms as well. Kloveyoubye.

What a thoughtful and sweet day you had! It's not about the cost of the gifts but the thought and effort you put into making sure your loved ones feel appreciated. The fact that you were able to find items that hold personal meaning and bring joy to both you and your mother-in-law is truly special. From the earbuds for your digital artwork to the lemon poppyseed cookie you've been craving, every item seems chosen with care and consideration. And the gesture of picking up thoughtful gifts for your mother-in-law despite being on a budget speaks volumes about your gratitude and appreciation for her support. Your Mother's Day celebration sounds like it was filled with love, laughter, and meaningful moments shared with those who mean the most to you. Wishing you a wonderful Mother's Day surrounded by the warmth of family and the joy of cherished moments.

@jstory07 That's pretty good. Well depending on what you spent. LOL. Which casino was it? Spirit Mountain? Or Chinook Winds?
