Red bottle (Tide Original) Vs Yellow Bottle (Tide Simply Clean)

I have a bottle of both Tide Original and Tide Simply Clean but there is a big difference between the two. Most people grab the yellow bottle because it is very price friendly but it's not great, honestly not even good, on heavily stained cloths. I use the yellow bottle on my most of my clothes because it's very gently and I don't have to worry about it hurting my clothes. It works just fine in cold or warm water and leaves my cloths smelling nice and fresh and clean. I use the red bottle on my husband and sons clothing. It's quite a bit tougher on heavily soiled clothing and with a little pre-treating even the heaviest dirt, grease and sort of grime, comes right out. The red bottle is a little more, cost wise, but it's well worth it in my opinion.

The old saying is "You get what you pay for." in terms of the Tide laundry detergent bottles.

I don't have too much laundry for myself and do it about twice a month. Right now I have the yellow bottle Tide,

The yellow bottle is definitely a money saver and if your clothes don't get dirty (mine don't get what I would call dirty, but they do get smelly) it's a real money saver.

My husband and I like to save where we can. When it comes to clothes, we have an off-brand we get from our local Aldi, which is price friendly and does quite well.

I use All free and clear. Tide is also a good brand to wash with. .

I've tried ALL but I must be allergic to it because I itched all over for a week afterwards.

Investing in the red bottle for tougher stains seems like a worthwhile choice for your husband and sons' clothing. Thanks for sharing your insights!

Yes, otherwise they'd look like a band of ragamuffins. I like my family to look clean and tidy!
