Oh boy, I was a grump yesterday. Let me explain.
I was just waking up and my husband walked in the bedroom asking, "where is that googly." He meant the cat even though the cats name is Beau. I knew who he meant though. I ignored the question bcuz I knew that he wasn't really asking me since I had just barely woken up and had sit up.
Our grandson had spent the weekend, he's almost 9 (next Monday is his bday) and he is high functioning autism with ADHD. He is doing well though, but it's taken almost 5 years to get his medication right.
But because of the autism or ADHD, I'm not sure which, he gets his mind on something and you can just about forget about anything else, bcuz he's going to ask about that certain thing ALL DAY LONG. And, of course, he did. What was it this week? Thanks to the husband the grandson was hung up on googly eyes. Googly eyes are those little stick on eyes with a black center that rolls around.
I try not to be annoyed with the grandson bcuz of his disabilities but when you've been asked about googly eyes 100 times in an hour and a half (that's probably a small bit off, but not much!) you tend to get annoyed.
Yesterday about 5pm his other grandma came and picked her up. What was the first thing he said to her? "Mamaw, can we go get some googly eyes." LOL, it was other grandmas time to be aggravated. But she tends to spoil him so she may have stopped and got him googly eyes.

Kids are so fun to have around when we get up in age
cause they have so much to give in they're little lives.

I do agree. My grandson is just the sweetest, kindest little boy, but he gets something in his head and he just won't let go. I'm not even kidding when I say he probably mention googly eyes 150 times yesterday.
