How often do you read a book?

Hello friends
It is a chilly night here, and my dinner is almost ready.
As we were preparing our dinner a question ran across my mind, when did I hold a book to read?
To my surprise, I could not even remember because most of my reading and studying I do them on my phone, laptop and tablet.
It might be concerning because, a wise man ones told me reading a physical book is much far better and it increases the thinking capacity. What do you think about that?
What is the last time you read a book?

I read and reread my books often. I can read in both Latvian and English. Every night before I go to sleep I read a book. Sometimes I take a break in the afternoon and continue reading, I enjoy holding a book in my hand,

I think the last time I read a book was two weeks ago or so. I caught myself reading digital books because I was giving some book reviews recently.
I really do prefer reading with physical books. They are comforting to the eyes compared to the digital ones. I often worry about the radiation that it can emit.

Sadly, I haven't been able to read books recently. It's probably been years since I've read a book. Though I have a tab on my browser here that's perpetually on Open Library. So... the desire is there, but I haven't gotten around to actually doing it.
Having said that, the last book I read was on my phone, borrowed from Open Library. Probably the Silmarillion or something... forgot now (years, I tell you - might have been before the pandemic).
Maybe it is preferable to read physical books. Easier to flip through the pages to go back and reread something... But sometimes (most times) it's just harder to get hands on a physical one if the library system in your area is not good or lacking or not convenient...

I love physical books rather than online books. I used to read 2 books a week; but I haven't read a book in quite a while. Have a good day.

I always have a book going. When it's finished, I start another one. I read daily, not for as long as I wish I could, but reading is my very favorite hobby. I have read books constantly my entire life.

I think you may have misunderstood my comment. I said I always have a book going, which means I am always reading a book. I read daily. I have not written a book, unless you count blogs and short stories and such. I would love to have the time to try to do that, but we shall see.

I mostly read real books. I only read from my laptop when I want to read again a classic and donĀ“t want to climb the stairs to go for it at the second floor. Then I readit from the Gutenberg project.
