Back From the Trail

Decided to walk the trail this morning. No, I didn't do all three sections of the trail. I did two. Nothing on the pond this morning, but I did get some flower pictures from the wooded section. I found the lily of the valley and one other that I don't know the name of. It might be a beautiful weed or wild flower. I don't know.
I already have all my steps for the day, almost 8000. I took the fitness tracker off this morning. It's too unreliable for numbers and sleep. This morning it showed I had over seven hours when I know it was only six plus. My pedometer app is 6000 per day and the insurance reward is 5000 a day for ten days. I'll work the foot cycle later. Not now. I'm way too hot. It's 72 F already. I wanted to get my walking done before it heated up out there.
My patio door and bedroom window is open to catch any breeze that wants to come through. There's not a lot of breeze this morning. So it was pleasant to go out when I did. I wore my hoodie, but didn't need it.

I told you those devices lie. Gosh, if you think 72 is hot..you are in for a heck of a summer. You may have to go back to the pool. Or I guess if you can exercise in the building it will be OK.

Walking the trail sounds like a nice walk to get in your steps. It's raining here today (again) so no outdoor walking for me. I have to get my steps inside which is doable but not as easy as taking a nice walk outside.

Great job with the walking, Val. What kind of insurance reward do you get for the 5000 steps?
Glad to hear you have a nice walking trail and beautiful close-up shot of the flowers. Love the color of those leaves, such a bold green.
This will be my new walking trail in a few months. This was one of those “accidental” shots from the backseat of the car on the way home, thinking it wouldn’t turn out too good because it was right at dusk. I was at the new place yesterday, just kinda walking around. Didn’t have my pedometer on, tho
