I know it's late. But I have pictures of tonight's meal. So that makes up for it right? I bought chicken yesterday on sale at Wal-Mart and hadn't froze it yet, so I decided that I would do chicken and dumplings today. It was super easy. Three large chicken breasts, some chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic salt, Lowery's Seasoning salt, and I used a two pack of Pillsbury Cresent roll dough rolled into dumplings. It took me about an hour or so to make. Everyone was happy and there are leftovers for tomorrow. Easy, filling and soooo yummy. Not the best pictures in the world. But I assure you it tasted delicious. And probably cost way less than $10 to make. It fed four of us, with leftovers. Probably reheat it tomorrow at lunch and add some more dumplings in.

That looks really good. The best meals are ones that you come up with and make.

@spiderdust helped me throw the recipe together, since it has been so long since I have made them, but it's pretty much the same recipe I have used for years. LOL

For whatever reason, chicken and dumplings have never been my favorite, but I do love me a good, hearty chicken noodle soup. I know, I will probably be tarred and feathered. lol

@thislittlepennyearns Nothing like a mouthful of chewy dough.
