My cat is possibly the meanest cat ever. But I love him and he has such a personality. I take him to my room at night before I go to bed bcuz my son has a horrible habit of wanting to leave the back door standing wide open and my cat is an indoor cat but if he gets the chance he will bolt for the door. But he's getting better about not bolting. He will watch it for a few minutes to see if it's going to stay open or closed, like when we go grocery shopping and have to leave the front door open. while we bring in the bags. When I wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, if my son has gone to bed I let the cat (his name is Bo, by the way) come and go by leaving my bedroom door slightly open. A funny thing that Bo does is, when I first wake up and start the coffee, if I forget to fill his food bowl (water bowl is always full) and start to walk out of the kitchen he will wrap himself around my ankles. The first couple of times he did that I thought he was trying to trip me but I came to realize it's his way of saying, feed me.
