Happy Memorial Day weekend

This time of year is when we honor the people who gave their lives so that we can live safely and have freedom. My grandfather fought in WWII, my father fought the Korean war along with my Step-Dad. My ex-son-inlaw fought in Iraq & Afghanistan, and still serving our country, Praying for our military people serving today! Enjoy your weekend, and remember our fallen soldiers, and be kind to our soldiers serving today.

I keep thinking about all the boys who never got to see their twenty first birthday, dying in a foreign land, to keep our country safe.

I echo your sentiments. I am proud to have a couple of cousins in the Marines and Air Force. I hope I never lose sight of what people have given up for me. Especially those who lost their precious lives.

We have so much to thank our servicemen/women for. Australia's equivalent of Memorial Day is Anzac Day, commemorated in April.
