Were you bitten by a tick?

I talked to my father. He is very angry because a tick bit him. He showed me where he was bitten. I don't know how to remove ticks. My mom is a nurse and she couldn't find the tick. I hope nothing bad will happen. My father has anger issues and he wants me to come with him to the countryside. But I can go outside the town only with my mom and I feel sick even with her. He doesn't understand this. He wants me to be like a normal person, but I have a phobia. It would be too much to travel with him without my mom. I hope that he won't have a disease because of that tick. He killed it very fast. But I am worried because he pressed the tick under the skin. I am sure the head of the tick is still there, but if he pushed the tick's head it disappeared and it can't be seen.

Pressing the tick under the skin sounds pretty painful, and at the same time a bit dumb. The goal is to remove the tick, not have it live under his skin.

@dya80dya I don't think killing a tick under your skin is a good idea.

I hope he did not get any virus or bacteria. Hope he will be ok and that he will not get angry because of it

I have been bitten by a tick twice in the past. Luckily I was able to pull them out quickly and I never got sick.

The tick disappeared. Thank you for your link. I am not sure what he did, but it wasn't pulled out.
