Like A Mother

My nephew has been mistakenly calling me "Mommy" a lot of times already. He immediately says sorry and corrects himself whenever he calls me that. I keep on telling him that I love him very much and have always seen him not just as my nephew but also my son. Once I tell him that, he just gives me this adorable smile and starts having a zoomie-like action. He runs around laughing and giggling then stops to look at how I react. Well, I just laugh as well then give him a hug. I really do feel like a mother to him, and I think I always will be like a mother to him.

For me, having a nephew or niece is better than having my own child because I can just return my nephew or niece to their parents when they start crying or giving tantrums.

@HaruLoid Haha me also. I don't want to work full time caring for kids. I enjoy teaching kids and after that return them to their parents

His mom is your sister? Maybe you look like her mom

No. His dad is my brother. But I took care of him as if I was his own mother ever since he was still a baby.

I don't like taking care of children because I don't have patience. I have a nephew, and our relationship is good. Since we are not in the same city, we meet once a year

Maybe they are considered an inseparable part of their family.
