my cats I have had in my life

I have owned 3 pets here in Israel and no pets in the United States. I had a tabby cat named Mitzi and now I have a black and white cat called Sophie. I am not good at naming my pets but two out of 3 I did name. I had a dog and loved to take her with me most places. Not all were happy to see her but she was my best friend and when I went out she would go with me. It is easier to take a dog out with you because you just put the leash on and off you go. With a cat you have to put them in a cage and that is not easy for me.

It sounds like Mitzi, Sophie, and your dog were all special companions in their own ways. Taking dogs out is indeed more straightforward with the leash. Cats can be a bit more challenging with the cage, but I'm sure Sophie appreciates the effort you make to keep her safe.

@Hannihar It's clear you care deeply for Sophie, and I'm sure she senses that even if she doesn't always show it. Animals have their unique ways of understanding and expressing things. It's great that you're so attentive to her needs and doing your best to keep her comfortable and safe.

I love my cat and I have to get back to showing her more and I will never abandon her. When we move if she does not go inside her cage then I always come back for her. She is my companion/roommate and I love her.

I hope Sophie does appreciate my effort to try and get her in her cage. It is hard for her to understand some things and maybe she does and does not care. I have no clue. All I know that I see certain noises bother her and I wish I could take them away but cannot.

I understand how you love your pets, especially cats. They are easier to take care of but to get shots and check ups they have to go in a cage and it is not always easy to get them inside of it.

I have good hearing and animals have better hearing and I do not blame them for hiding. They are probably very scared.
