It has been a while since our vet has visited us. I have been so busy with things and also we move a lot. I hope when I find a place this will be it and we can settle in and just unwind in one place. My cat has not had her shots in quite some time and it is very difficult when you are the one doing it all with some help and guidance. I really should have to vet come this year but have to put my cat in her cage and it is very hard to do that and I try and get her in with tuna but so far has not worked and moving and packing must be so stressful for her that the vet has not come.

I got Bruno to the vet this spring, but not Bitty. She knew what I was up to and she hid. I need to call tomorrow and see when I can take her.

It sounds like a challenging situation. Moving and packing can indeed be stressful for pets. Using tuna as bait is a good idea. Sometimes it just takes a bit of patience and creativity to get them into the carrier. Once you're settled, it might be easier to schedule a vet visit.

@Hannihar Waiting until you're settled might indeed make the process easier, and your vet can offer advice on making the trip as comfortable as possible for your pets. Best of luck with the move!

Thank you and I know what I have to do with the vet and my cat has to be in her cage so the vet can switch to her cage. She cannot help me get her in.

Thank you and that is a good idea to wait. The tuna does not always work.

I hope you will be able to get your cat some shots soon. Very important.

I feel bad that she has not had her shots in a while and that it is important but I just cannot get her in her cage.

Preiti our pet dog was very friendly with the Vet. She never let me open her mouth when there was someting stuck in ther but when the Vet arrived I remember her wagging her tail and letting him go right inside her mouth and pull out a bone that was stuck in the pallet. (lol)

@Hannihar Preiti was an exception. The others hid when the Vet came.

My pets never liked any vet they went to or came to see them.

If my cat were not in her cage she would be hiding when the vet comes. She is not a vet cat.
