Pirate Bear Gets a Fresh Pose

Upon submitting the rough sketch of Pirate Bear to the client, she decided that she wanted a more dynamic pose, with his head more thrown back, and she wanted to switch his sword to the other side. She sent me a rough sketch of her so that I could implement these suggestions.
With that direction, it was time to start the "comp" (comprehensive) sketch. A comp sketch is not yet the finish art, but it is done in full color and approximates the feeling of the finish art, although it is usually done in a quick, less final medium, such as marker instead of paint.
These days, digital art is an option, as well, so I decided to produce the comp sketch as a piece of digital art. This is the first stage of the digital sketch - the line art. More to come!

Thank you! I like some things about the original and some things about this one, so I'm okay either way.

You are so, so good. I have no artistic talent at all. Have a good week.

@AliCanary You're very welcome. Nope...it doesn't help. I'm better at things like needlepoint and embroidery. No art for me.
