I am getting addicted to broth.

I wait until the broth is boiling and then I cook there an egg. I just bought a very good utensil with holes so that I can fish the egg first and then add broth into the mug with a dipper.
I thought that I would also make a sandwich but finally I took the rest of the cooked breast to the fridge. I´ll use it for lunch tomorrow.
I bought today a beautiful piece of meat but I´ll eat it, at least in part, with Anita on Wednesday. I will make a stew with it in my Dutch oven. I have an eggplant and I´ll add eggplant pieces to it. And I will also make a cup of rice. I already ate the one I made a few days ago.
But I won´t think about food now. I a have a full tummy. And I want to read a bit before turning off the lights. See you.

I need to make a grocery list tonight or tomorrow for Wednesday. I need to get two weeks full of groceries and clothing and some other stuff since the kids will be out of school soon.

I only miss the consomme cups that my mom had. You can´t buy them now. She had consomme cups with 2 ears.

This makes me think of chicken egg soup which is very good. I used to make it but have not in many years. It is basically boiled chicken broth, and you very slowly pour scrambled eggs into the broth while slowly stirring the broth, so the egg scatters in the soup. I have recently thought about making it again, but I rarely ever boil any chicken to make the broth with. In this soup though, you do not remove the egg. You eat it in the broth. We get it at Chinese restaurants if we don't want to make our own.

I eat many eggs. I love them in any way. Omelettes are the easiest way for me to use leftovers.

The one I got was a meat for a stew. I don´t know the name in English. But it is tougher than steak and a lot cheaper. The way I cook it (in the Dutch oven) it is delicious. It just takes more time.

I make sure that I have a good lunch on Wednesdays, when A nita comes to work. She is a good worker and I´m sure that she does not eat as well at her house.

It was. Now I´ll go for a piece of cake. I already cut a piece of meat from my stew. It was very good.
