My brother and my little nephews Charlie and Noah have just been round to visit! Ali wasn't with them because she's gone to a funeral apparently.
They didn't come in because they had the little dog, Impy, with them!
I had a bit of a stroke of Impy and he licked my fingers! My Mum also had a stroke of him, and he licked her fingers too. She went to call Syd so he could meet Impy too! David said he didn't think I was a dog person, and I said I like small dogs, and big dogs if they're friendly.
David, my brother, put Impy on the floor and he came in to the foyer. My Mum said they could come in, but David said Impy might eat all our stuff! David let Impy have a wonder round, but still on his lead.
David put Impy on our lawn to see if he wanted to do a business or anything. Impy started eating the grass! Then Noah reckoned he'd eaten a woodlouse. Then he started biting his lead. Then Impy got a leaf from infront of our front door. David got hold of the leaf and said Drop it. But Impy kept his grip on the leaf. So David said DROP IT! No response. DROP! IT! Eventually David managed to get the leaf out of Impy's grasp!
I had another stroke of Impy and he gave me a bit of a nibble! I said, No! Not biting! Licking, fine. Biting, no!
Anyway then David had to go. He'd only really came round to show us Impy. So I had one more stroke of Impy and said, You're gorgeous, you are. And then they were off.
The picture (above) isn't from today. That's from Facebook.

It seems like dogs are like little kids. You have to show them who is boss.

Yes, that's absolutely true! They can be stubborn like little kids, and Impy sure didn't want to drop that leaf!

Thank you for sharing with us a picture of Impy. He is very cute. So Impy bites. How long have they had him?

Does he do that to you often? He is very cute. You are right, he does have to learn not to do that. My cat just went up and bit the handyman once and I was very angry at her for doing that. That is not very long. How old is he? 18 days is still not long but so nice of them to choose him.

@Hannihar Well, I've only met him the once and he's only done it once, so no.
I think it's very strange for cats to bite - don't you think?
He was 11 weeks old when they got him so now he'll be just over 13 weeks old.
Yes, it was nice of them to choose him. He is adorable!

He is gorgeous, isn't he? It was just a little nibble really, it didn't hurt. But he's got to learn not to do that. They've had him about a week I think. I'll just check.
Edit:- Actually they've had him for about 18 days! I didn't think it was that long.

It sounds like you had a lively visit with your brother and nephews, even though Ali couldn't join. Impy seems like a character! It's always fun to interact with pets, even if they're a bit mischievous. Do you often get to spend time with them?

Thank you very much. Yes, it's good that my brother and my nephews came round. I was really looking forward to meeting Impy as soon as I found out about him, and he didn't disappoint! He is absolutely adorable! Yes, Impy is a bit of a character. I enjoyed stroking him - and being licked by him!
We see them now and then, but not as much as we used to.

That is Impy in the photo. But that was a picture Ali shared on Facebook and wasn't taken when they came round yesterday. He is cute, isn't he? I hope I get to see more of Impy too.

@JudyEv Yes, Impy is really cute. But I think he was named well, because he is a bit of an Imp! I'm sure I'll be able to share some more pictures of him with you again.
